If Lawson is at a serious disadvantage their second round game with either us or Butler becomes a lot more interesting. All of a sudden we would have another positive in the matchups and I could see us actually having a good shot. Anyone know exactly what is up with him? I saw Roy Williams talking about him not being able to go for their first game.

they dont need him for that game, no reason not to sit him and give him that much more rest...he is going to play in the second round, he had th esame injury before the Duke game and he played in that one

I know they don't need him in the first one. What I am asking is, is he going to be limited in the second round? If he is at 70% that makes a huge difference for us IMO.

Lawson had a fricked up ankle last year, missed a majority of the season. They still made it to the final four. What do you think is going to happen this year. It's just a fricking toe. Everyone's acting like he's fricking disabled.

he is at worst 85-90% and still faster than anyone who will have to guard him

even with a banged up toe he is faster than Bo Spencer or Tasmin Mitchell or whomever the coach tries to put on him.

its the one thing the Rant is hanging its hat on to have a chance to beat UNC, even though it wouldnt matter if he was hurt, they still wont beat them

LSU would def. have a shot at beating UNC if Lawson were to sit out. I still wouldn't bet on it, but we would have a shot. UNC would still hurt us in the post badly. I just hope we can beat Butler right now though. That is a 50/50 game for us.

dude you go frick up your toe & see how painful it is...someone stepped on my toe with their cleat going full speed & i could barely walk for a week...toenail ended up coming off...hell, even Shaq missed like 1/4 season due to his toe...don't bang it till you get the injury
