Will G. Temple play overseas? Does he even want to?

I don't think he will ever see the NBA but there is definitely room for his type of game overseas.
What's your opinion?

Don't count him out. There is always room for a shut down defender. In the right situation he could play a few years in the NBA. He could even become a better shooter when his offense is not as much in the spotlight.

he will make a roster in the NBA.

Unless you are a Bruce Bowen or Ben Wallace type you gotta be able to shoot.

he may not be a big time star but he will hold his own on a roster

There were scouts in the stands looking at him about a month ago.

Temple will be in a roster in the NBA. His defense is superb. Not only is he good on defense but the guy leads the team in assists (122) and steals (56), Great on Free Throws and when given the opportunity he make the points count.
Temple plays better than people think.

the question is, does he even want to? He already has his business degree and is working on his MBA right now. He may follow in his brothers footsteps into the business world.

If giventhe opportunity , like most competitive athletes he would want to prove to himself whether he could make it so there are no regrets at age 30.

I think GT can make an NBA roster as a glove, and has the body, length, developing range & consistency, to actually become a developmental sleeper.

yeah he's "in the spotlight" on LSU's offense
and temple could theoretically make a roster, but i doubt he will
he seems to be a tweener 1/2 who has has absolutely no offensive game
there aren't many roster spots for guys who contribute negatively on offense and can likely only guard 1s in the NBA

GT's shooting has been horrible for most of his LSU career. Some people just can't ever get much better as a shooter no matter what..Rudy Macklin & Ronald Dupree are a couple of players that come to mind whose shooting never progressed.

Uh, Bruce Bowen is a deadly spot 3 point shooter. what are you talking about

I think because the known 6th and 7th men are going overseas for the big payday, a guy like G. Temple can slip his way onto an NBA roster.

While I personally don't think he could make it in the NBA because of his lack of offense, I think this comment is ridiculous. At 6-6/6-7 with long arms, he is perfect to guard the 1, 2 and even some 3's.

no way he's even 6-6
likely 6-4
likely 6-4
