What are the movies you will stop and watch, regardless of how far they are into the movie, when you are flipping channels and see they are on
My partial list:
My Cousin Vinny
Road House
School of Rock
Smokey and the Bandit, (although I hate the edited TV version)
Shawshank Redemption

Any Rocky movie.
I'll agree with My Cousin Vinny.
Some movies that bring up personal nostalgia:
-Natural Born Killers - first movie I saw with my now wife (not first date, just movie).
-Goonies
-Forrest Gump
-Point Break
-Goodfellas
-Happy Gilmore
-Field of Dreams
-The Princess Bride (I know it probably makes me a little gay)
-Bad Boys I and II
-Any Steven Segal or Van Damme movie pre 1995 (or around then)

Any Rocky movie
if I catch one of the first 3 Rocky movies, I have to watch it through the ending fight scene, even if it means staying up an extra hour or 2.

Iona, add Mr Roberts to your list and that pretty well sums up mine.
