In the long run, this SCOTUS decision may end up being as big as anything Trump is able to accomplish in his second term.

He was one of the votes to overturn the Chevron Deference. Apparently he fricking hates the regulatory state, which is awesome.
Weirdly enough, his mom was the one who argued for Chevron Deference back in the day.

I am MAGA through and through, but this and the talk of killing the filibuster worries me.
The United States of America was ordained by God to be governed by conservative men of God. However, this is a wicked world and nearly 50% of the people who can vote support communists.
It scares me to think what a Commie President and Commie congress would do with the power President Trump has managed to acquire.

I hear you, but the Democrats will end the filibuster just as soon as they have a majority again. They already tried in the last Congress but Manchin and Sinema blocked it. They are both gone now, and I think only Fetterman would vote against it.

If the democrats hadn't been able to get the country to where we are now, I would agree with you. The only thing that will save the country is a drastic reversal, and that will not happen with congress.
Either we fight now, or watch as the country continues leftward. We won't have a better chance in the future.

Here is the problem as I see it. Some drastic changes are needed to the way the country operates. The bottom line is that leftists cannot ever even sniff power again. I am not sure the people have the intestinal fortitude for that to happen.
The Constitution was written for a moral and devout people. It is useless to govern a pack of purple haired hyenas. We are getting close to being a post-constitutional society if our culture and faith is going to survive.

You realize the Unified Executive Theory basically establishes that 4th branch of the bureaucracy right? Overruling this precedent will strip Congress of its legislative power and transfer it to the executive to shape that 4th branch outside of Congressional oversight.
