It's not just what he said, but HOW he said it. Not overly animated, not attacking Snuffelopolus personally, but firmly yet clearly laying out the real issue.
No games. No theatrics. No drama, just to the point and unflinching.
Where the HELL did that attitude go with the GOP? Reagan had it. Newt had it. Cruz once had it. But lately, it's been awol.

Had to do some research on this guy. He seems pretty solid unless somebody from the show me state thinks otherwise. Very well spoken.

There’s far worse people out there.
He actually took action as our AG and drove some key changes in the state.
Yeah. He’s a blowhard sometimes. But he is a politician. He seems to be growing into a solid leader in some ways.

His response should be "funny how THIS pardon had your dander up, but not the pardons of (rattles off three absolutely shitty Biden pardons)"

Schmidt's the man. He deserves to be much better known than he currently is.

Attacking the MSM cannot be done enough.
Point out their propaganda as often as possible.

And people need to be much more aggressive and nastier about it.

All he missed is asking Wee George to swear an oath, right now, to stop the propaganda, and to turn himself into a legitimate journalist.
