We know but that’s the system

Meh, half the teams don’t really belong.

I hate Bama as much as the next guy. However, If you’re in the SEC championship game, you’re in the playoffs.
The real crime is Texas loss to Ohio State hurting them. There is no incentive to play a decent team out of conference.

The rigging started two weeks ago when the rankings started getting screwed around with. The CFP knew that they were gonna put Alabama in no matter what had to happen. The INCESTUOUS ELEPHANTS got embarrassed last night. They have no business going to the college football playoffs. Oklahoma will destroy them.

An eight team playoff would have eliminated the three loss teams.

Why? A loss in the CG shouldn't count against you, just so that another team with the (previously) same record sits at home and then gets in.

Can guarantee to you…..any other SEC team with the same scenario (3 losses; blown out in SECCG)…. & they’re out

Which team deserves to be in over them?

You meant to say Florida.

Not if the gumps were near the #8 you can bet the bias would have factored in.

I don't agree with this at all.
The real crime is two group of 5 teams being in that haven't beaten anyone.
Losses matter, as they should, but wins have to matter as well.
Texas beat Oklahoma and Texas A&M, yet they aren't in?
Alabama beat UGA, among others.
Who did Tulane beat?
Who did JMU beat?
That's just pure insanity.
This is 12 teams, there should be no dispute over a 2 regular season loss Bama that played in the SEC championship game and already beat the team that previously beat them.
Bama should be in, Texas should be in.
Texas got hosed for the same reason that OU / Bama play each other week 1 and that Indiana plays the winner of Oregon / JMU...
There is a vested interest in making sure other non sec schools are in and make it far to keep viewership up.

Wrong. At least the big 6 still get in. Despite how insecure some of y'all are, LSU would still get in.

Why? A win can help you so why can’t a loss hurt you?

3 losses is still 3 losses. Whether a Conference CG or not. CFB Committee and NCAA is still on the Bama high. Let's see what happens next year with Bama....

Unless you’re BYU

Then cancel the games. Also that has never been the standard before. We have a long history of conference champ games punishing teams. I would bet this is the first time ever a team has lost by 20+ and not dropped in the rankings.

help me understand this logic.
There's 119 teams or so...
but 3 losses with one being to a team in the CG that you already beat is still 3 losses.
I swear yall want to see these conferences break up and everyone go play Louisiana College every week.

The amount of money someone is making !! And of course the many years of cheating on the field by we know who ; I believe it’s time for Musk and Big balls to open an investigation.
