The college football playoffs have been around for over a dozen years. This is just the second year that they have a 12 team playoff. Previously, it was 4 team playoffs. So no, Tulane is not the first Louisiana team that ever made the college football playoff!

Yes, and LSU had a much closer game with Ole Miss earlier in the season than they did with Tulane… and the games were only one week apart. Vandy, ND and Texas should be livid.
