Old days of East versus West it should’ve been easy ATL v NOLA ……. NFL knows what a great Super Bowl city NOLA is.

Not fair for UGA to get that every year

I think the reasoning was we had the Sugar Bowl.

Isn’t there a brand new stadium going up in Nashville?

Could rotate between ATL, NOLA, Nashville, & Houston. It makes too much sense, so it will never happen.

I always liked knowing where I wanted to spend the first weekend in December.

Yes I've said it for years, as well as the SEC baseball playoffs. ROTATE IT.

They announce the sites years in advance. So you could still plan accordingly

Especially since the SEC expanded west. Makes no sense to keep it in Georgia every year.

EDIT: And I get when SEC champ would be in Sugar. But that's probably not the case with the playoffs

I've always said that once Tex-arse gets their whiny, complaining "we have to be in charge" fingers into the SEC, there is no way this sham UGA home game continues.

Also, totally agree about Hoover. That might have been fine 25 years ago when no one cared about college baseball, but that place is too small, a traffic nightmare and a complete shite hole of a stadium. SEC baseball deserves way better.

Not sure what I think about Nashville's lock on the basketball tournament.

All sports should be rotated. The SEC should be ablut showcasing all of the great cities within the footprint. It might be great for UGA fans to go to ATL, but some other teams might want to go to different cities every once in awhile. You could probably do a city once a decade if you really wanted to, but I would say 3 or 5 cities would be best for every sport, but use different cities where you can.

Definitely the SEC footprint has a ton of awesome cities for visitors with stadiums and arenas that would host first class events. It's absolutely insane that none of these championships are rotated.

What would be wrong with the #1 seed hosting? Would definitely be awesome for baseball.

Gross. Houston better than Orlando. Orlando is a terrible stadium and city. Houston is meh all around.

Never Orlando. Terrible College Football town. Need downtown walkable stadium.

It would be a little hard to put together sometimes, but that's definitely an idea.

If Bama doesn’t make the playoffs this year, the SECCG may be cancelled moving forward. Sankey ain’t going to risk losing a playoff team.

The Big10 Conference Championship Game is still scheduled to be held at the traditional site of Lucas Oil Field in Indy through '28. Maybe that is partly because all football championship games are in jeopardy of being cancelled.

I notice that the Big10 has decided to rotate their Basketball Championship Games away from the traditional United Center in Chicago after this season with it going to Indy in '27 and Vegas in '28 (looks like a concession to their new West Coast teams.).

There must be a reason why they continue doing it. They are tricking the fans into thinking it's great idea bc fans here defend it when I bring this up. Rotating it gives everyone an opportunity to host something. SEC is controlling it and it ain't good for everyone.
