Ohio State's won 30 in a row vs Indiana? This has to be strangest 1v 2 matchup in history

I have no clue how to pick this game.
Ohio State is favored by 4.
This is one of the biggest games in Indiana history, being played in Indianapolis.
Ohio State just came off the Michigan game and I don't know how motivated they will be.
This falls into games I wouldn't touch if I were a betting man.
In any event, I had no idea Ohio State was on a 30 game winning streak against them.

Indiana in general has sucked for the better part of 30 years.
Last time I think they had a good team before last season was when Antwan Randal El was their QB at the start of the 90s.

The problem is it's basically an exhibition game with almost no implications. I suspect both coaches are going to call it safe.

That 30 in a row means NOTHING tonight… it’s a shame this game isn’t a win or go game.. that would make this game much more interesting.

Indiana’s football history is absolutely putrid. Before Cignetti they were the biggest loser in CFB history. They are 3-11 in bowl games.
It’s unbelievable what Cignetti has done to that dumpster fire. I would say what Pearl did at Auburn is comparable considering Auburn basketball historically, but I think it’s even harder in football.

OSU hasn't lost to Indians since 1988

Look at Indiana’s all time numbers.
All-time record
524–719–46 (.424)
Bowl record: 3-11
Traditional Big ten schools they trail:
Purdue 44-71
Ohio St 9-81
Northwestern 36-47
Iowa 29-46
Illinois 26-46
Michigan 11-62
Michigan State 18-51
Minnesota 26-40
Penn St 3-25
They’re historically one of the worst power 4 football teams all time.

They had that running back - Thomas? He was good.
I am not a believer in IU even now. They have played 3 ranked teams since Cignetti has been there and are 1-2. They have benefitted from a pathetic non-conference schedule and the expansion of Big 10 which has diluted the conference's strength.
If they win a playoff game I will have to give them credit, but not until they do.

when you are even Purdue and Northwestern's punching bag, you are a definitely historically bad.
Hell, even Vandy has a winning record against two SEC schools.
Vandy's record vs each SEC school:
Bama 20-61-4
Arkansas 3-7
Auburn 23-22-1
Florida 11-44-2
UGA 20-61-2
Kentucky 45-48-4
LSU 8-25-1
Moo St 7-15-2
Mizzou 5-11-1
Oklahoma 0-2-1
Ole Miss 40-54-2
USCe 5-30
Tennessee 34-79-5
Texas 8-5-1
TAMU 0-3

Give Indiana the four points and bet your house on it. Not going to be close.

Boy was I wrong. This is why I don’t bet.
