Alabama's national championship hopes (i.e., playoff eligibility) will hang on the outcome of a game where it will have to replay a team it already beat in the regular season by 3 points on that team's home field?

I mean we had to play them in the National title game after beating them.

So yeah... We understand.

I think Alabama thinks they are in the playoffs regardless of the outcome tonight...

No it won't. They are in regardless. TTU winning helps that cause too

Wouldn’t it be karma biting them in the arse if they win, but their QB gets hurt and out for the season and the committee keeps them out due to the injury?

That would never happen to them

Eh, the committee has already shown they are willing to do it to an undefeated FSU. Obviously they aren't Bama, but it's not like FSU is a nobody.

Perhaps.

But if they throw up an ugly 21-0 loss they likely won't be.

Committee will be in a pickle.

Georgia wins, they remain top 4. Do you punish Alabama because they earned the right to play in the SEC Championship, and drop them out of the playoffs? I think no

Alabama wins, do you punish Georgia because they earned the right to play in the SEC Championship, and drop them from the top 4? This would mean no SEC team is in the top 4 unless you move a 2 loss Bama all the way up from 9 to 4.

I think they're in regardless

But they could have to play on the road in the 1st round

If Alabama loses and is left out, Sankey is gonna burn the mfer down. SEC and B1G have the CFP by the balls because they can walk away at any time

Honestly, I would like to see GA-Bama I,II, and III this year. Like the old Ali-Frazier fights...trying to beat each other into submission.

Yeah, I haven't heard anyone saying Alabama is on the bubble if they lose. That is bizarre since they already have 2 losses and only one spot ahead of Notre Dame who IS on the bubble. What if Georgia beats Alabama 35-0...why in the world wouldn't an Alabama team with 3 losses drop below say a Miami team.
