Trades are not going to start until after 12/15. Jones can't be traded until 1/15. Why would teams be calling now?

Why would they? I mean certain teams are interested. They will make offers when we are able to complete the trade. There is no sense in reaching out over a month ahead of time. They aren't going to hold assets if there are other players they want as well..
