Thought he did a pretty good job with the DL this year. But what Robinson brings to the table is outstanding.

He left voluntarily. Football gets in the way of him playing golf

Widely speculated he just wasn’t super high on the grind of CFB work right now. He’s got young kids and I THINK they stayed in Ruston.
Prolly pretty hard on him in that respect.

So many think he was gonna bow out anyhow. But yes, he did a good job considering level of job and it’s his first year coaching CFB.

But no other way to put the Robinson hire but ‘best possible hire for that position’

Best of luck to Kyle in future endeavors and hopefully winds up back here down the road

It honestly makes me like him even more. He didn't do the job for himself. He did it for LSU. And now he's going to be with his family.

Kyle Williams came to LSU because he felt bad about how bad things were not because he needed a job

I thank him for his service as a Tiger and wish him well in his return home. He didn’t have to do what he did and his showing up to help out was a solid for LSU.

I think it’s highly possible he got a little restless this time last year with his job as DC at Ruston High. There were rumors he almost interviewed for the opening for HC at West Monroe, but ultimately removed his name. He ended up getting the job at LSU, but I think he may have realized early on there was a lot more to it than developing players. I think that’s where his hearts at. He loves helping guys reach their full potential. He is a good man, and I hope he finds the best place to pass on his knowledge to football players.

I appreciate him helping LSU in a time of need. With that being said, we upgraded.

Yes. KW deserves much respect. His EQ is high and made the decision for him while keeping in mind what’s better for LSU.

Multi millionaire in his 30’s with a 13 year NFL career that had this year as his one and only sample to coach college…don’t blame him for being like “nah, I’m good”

BTW, I hope he comes back to Ruston to coach. He is as responsible as anyone for Ruston’s return elite status in football. Their defense took a major hit when he left. It was inspiring to watch his interactions with his defensive guys too. He truly loves those relationships and it shows.

any man with kids can respect that and he wasn't in it for the money so good luck to him in his next venture.

Kyle did one helluva job with the D Line this year. That group was arguably the most improved unit on the team.

Next time you hear someone say Coach _______ loves LSU!!!!!! think about Kyle Williams. He actually acts like someone who does love LSU.
