I don’t think they get in with a 3rd loss. Is it right? Probably not. Ole Miss, OU, and Aggie get to sit at home with spots locked up. These games need to go away. The only team playing today that can play their way in is BYU. Everyone else is just risking injury or losing ground in the rankings.

With a loss, they are out. As they should be.

I think they’re still in with a loss, they may drop to 10, but they already beat UGA once.

A 3 loss team should NEVER be in the playoff. Unless nobody has less than 2 losses.

So you're suggestion is to put the team behind them with two losses that sat on their arse today and didn't have to play a top 5 team?

It’s Bama. They’d try to slide them in with 4 losses if they could. Of course they are in with a loss.

How quick you forget Bama has been the last team out twice in the last few years

They should be out with a loss. Their loss to FSU has to count for something.

The SEC CG should be required to be won to cover for that loss. If they can’t win it, they don’t deserve it based on the loss to FSU by two TDs

No they are in no matter what. But assuming texas tech wins, bammer decides if notre dame or Miami gets in

So Alabama should be penalized for making and losing in the SEC Championship game while 2 loss Oklahoma and I guess potentially Vanderbilt (depending on today’s chaos) get in?

I’m not knighting for Alabama, but the point is someone is going to get screwed.

As much as I dislike Bama and the rules that have been bent for them, they should be in regardless

Committee says that conference championship games shouldn't hurt anyone, and they should already be in plus have beaten their opponent on the road already. They have nothing to gain from this game and are being forced to play.

While it would be hilarious to see them play and lose to get eliminated - the Auburn reverse from 2017 or whatever year that was they ended up losing to Auburn sitting home then making as 4th seed - it wasn't right then and it isn't right now.

If they get destroyed and/or Simpson takes a bad injury, it’s possible they could fall out. But that’s extremely unlikely. A “normal” 14-point loss (or less) and they’re safe.

Only way Bama is left out imo is if they lose by 10+ AND Ty gets injured AND probably another stud receiver or defensive player.

And even then, it's BS, because there's a 0% chance of that happening to teams sitting at home (Vandy, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss)

Duke v is why college football sucks. He thinks you should just schedule shite teams and go to the playoffs. Records only matter.

Yes. Both of those teams have similar losses to two top 15 teams and not a double digit loss to 5 win team.

All the Bama Stans will say they should be in even if they lose. But that's all bias, any team with three losses doesn't belong in the playoffs.

You are also the problem. You only go by losses, not wins.
