Its not that some people feel they "betray" LSU, it just seems like if you're from Louisana, why not choose LSU? great facilities, great fans, great atmosphere, great pro factory, pretty good education.
You forget that sometimes, recruits just feel more attached to coaches of other schools, or their campus just makes them feel more "at home." There are many things that factor in an 18 year old's mind on where he plans to spend the next 3-4 years of his life and you shouldn't hold any grudge if he spends it somewhere other than LSU.

Some people I don't feel "betrayal" for:
Marshall Faulk (would have been a DB at LSU)
Peyton and Eli (like Arche would let his kids go here)
Kordell Stewart (probably wouldn't have been a QB here)
