Penn St, Florida, and LSU. I think Penn St was the biggest surprise of the 3. I wonder what surprise firing and major HC openings we will see next year? Tennessee if they have a repeat of this year? Texas if Sark possible leaves for an NFL job? Any predictions?

South Carolina

I truly believe that this will become a top job soon. There is just too much support for that program that has never been organized. They will do it one day.

I like Beamer and hope he turns things around but he hasn’t shown he can be consistent or take the program to the next level. I think promoting Shula was lazy. Next season is going to heavily depend on if Sellers stays, if he can hire a really good OC, and if he can bring in some good players from the portal. I think he put his job on the line next season with the comments he made after the A&M game.

Lol, Auburn literally has the same number of nattys as all 3 of those programs combined.

I don't see how this shite is sustainable with all these coaches get bought out every year.

TCU will hopefully be firing Sonny dykes soon.
I guess he finished off the season OK, so maybe he bought himself 1 more year.
Edit: I guess TCU probably isn’t major either so sorry.
I look forward to seeing who Texas brings in if Sark goes to the NFL. Wouldn’t be mad about it. Never been a big fan.

I hope so, but they suck in all 3 of the big sports. They sold their soul for women’s bball?

Michigan will be the big one next season. Clemson, if we consider it a major job possibly. Still waiting on Kirby to walk away sooner than later as well once he gets his fill.

FSU is the only realistic one. Things would have to go really bad for the other teams.

He didn’t have the energy needed when he got back from the NFL. They need a charismatic leader who works 80+ hours a week and then goes out and promotes SC as the best school in the state. Had out maroon football to every high school seniors or use live chickens. I am telling you that if it gets going it will be sick.

USC. Stinkin Lincoln has been there for awhile and needs to deliver on the huge financial investment the school made on him.

Same for Norvell at FSU

We been hearing that for years. Spurrier had the program close until he got lazy at the end and they whiffed hiring Muschamp.

I would be deeply surprised if FSU doesn’t fire Norvall next year. I think he would have to have a perfect or near perfect season to save his job.

I thought Penn St firing Franklin was stupid and it is biting them in the arse right now. I think we may see more of this every now and then. Some programs and boosters are getting impatient and just like in Franklin’s case, they didn’t care about the success of the previous season.
