i couldn't watch last night and i'm not aware of the scenarios but, if someone can simply let me know what needs to happen for Tulane to get in the CFP, i'd appreciate.

They aren't beating NT in the rain Friday night so it doesn't matter

Just win and its damn near a guarantee that they’re in

Top 5 conference champs get a guaranteed spot in the field.

Winners of SEC, B1G, Big 12 championship games are all 100% in

Virginia is in as ACC champ if they win. If Duke pulls off the upset, ACC is out

Tulane is the highest ranked G5 team right now. The only way they win and get left out is if Virginia and JMU both win and somehow JMU jumps up 5 spots to leapfrog Tulane….which is very unlikely since Tulane’s CCG opponent is ranked a spot ahead of JMU

Is this a real question?

Just beat North Texas. It is a home game for Tulane.

They will be in as the #12 or #11 seed as the AAC Champ

I’d imagine more important for Eric Morris (NT) - financial incentives for making the CFP, he’s a Texas guy, & I’d assume his new contract at OK State was less than Sumrall’s at UF.

Was it North Texas whose QB just decided to sit out or was that someone else?
