He said he locked his recruitment down but then posted pictures in Texas uniforms and now has taken his commitment post down on IG.

I mean i don't blame him. Kiffin saying he's retaining Baker then immediately Baker interviews for Tulane doesn't inspire confidence that the defense coachng staff is locked up at all.

I don't think that's unreasonable for any recruit would want to know especially when you have other schools that can offer as much or more $

Is he though? Frank won’t be his position coach and no one is sure what his role is on staff next year. Texas is going to throw an extra $250k at him. Relationships aren’t as important to some even if Frank was coaching in his backyard 20 years ago.
