As much as I loved Woodward, Verge seems to be solid

Verge has been solid at everything he’s done at LSU since he stepped on to campus as a player. Great person.

He certainly did a phenomenal job getting LK and seemed to handle all aspects of the hiring process flawlessly. I loved Woodward too but I think we’re in good shape with Verge.

Why would someone love Woodward other than he is a one of us guy?
Football- meddles in hires and got us BK who many questioned for years before coming and a complete non fit
Basketball- fired best coach of the modern era because negative media stories, hires a mcclown that had the worst 3 year stretch in modern LSU history
NIL- spent assloads on advertising in New York as NILSU, when it was nut cutting time we didn’t have a solid plan in place. Mainly because Scott was operating in the old world not the new.
The three biggest areas all were bad under Scott
His biggest achievement was getting Jay to come here but that is debatable that he wanted that since he tried to get Mr mcmurder sully.
His next biggest was paying lots of money for a women’s basketball coach so we can pretend people care
Then winning a gym title
So Scott did a great thing with baseball if we want to give him that despite himself, then took sports that are fringe and had them win titles as well but the biggest part of our program sank under him and it was clear when he made the hire he wasn’t serious about a title run.

Well he did handcuff EdO. I liked him to. I wasn't happy but the more I've heard the more disappointed I've become... But it's a new day. He's still a tiger... He still did some good things
