Just didn’t understand is there a rule about coaching two teams in one year?

Does he know the players? Do they know the playbook? The coaches and players are not exactly robots that you just plug and play.

Let him recruit and build a staff. We don’t need him for the bowl game.

The better question is why would LSU go to a bowl.

He doesn't want to interfere with "this team."
He will watch and see what he has/needs

Play calling putting in plays with all parties paid with a month until!?

Better used elsewhere. He will watch the bowl game as an evaluation. Better this way.

Better question is why would he? It’s a no win situation for him.

More important things to worry about then coach BK’s toilet bowl

I think the focus right now is assessment of what we have in the barn.
Great opportunity for a lot of young guys.

Don't usually want anyone on the team (including coaches) to learn a totally new system for just one game. That energy for non-interim coaches might better be spent preparing for the long term answers.

I bet he spends a day or two scouting film and making suggestions for the offense.

You want his Game 1 to be a meaningless bowl game with decimated shitty roster as his unveiling?. A team he had nothing to do with?
Or wait until TIger Stadium Game 1 2026 LSU vs Clemson?
OP is truly a fricking idiot

A meaningless bowl takes away from completing staff and recruiting

Yeah, he should coach Ole Miss until season is over.

I don’t think he needs to coach, but his personality on the sidelines, doing interviews, and general media during a nationally televised game is another opportunity to get his face and LSU in front of potential players.

because they are bowl eligible!

It can really only go wrong for him...no upside. This is the right move
