It hasn't been off-the-rails with Muslims for 30 years. But it is, now.
Has it been building towards this for that long? Yes. But the community is large and strong enough now that they're emboldened.
The people white-knighting for them will soon find themselves in quite the existential quandary, when they're forced to submit to Islam or face being beheaded themselves. I don't feel sorry for them. I know exactly how this ends for me, when we come to it.
