And how you either loved or hated Florida in the 90s, but fun n gun was the future and was exciting. You also maybe hated Spurrier, but he was entertaining and you respected him.

We now have the best of Steve, Pete, and Nick as our coach brothers!

Let’s ride!!!!

I always loved watching Spurrier scream at the QBs and bench them at will. Would’ve loved to see the head ball coach deal with Nuss this season.

Both work, but his book is literally called Head Ball Coach.

My favorite Spurrier story was when Jesse Palmer threw an interception and ran over to Spurrier and told him sorry coach and Spurrier told him don’t worry Jesse it’s not your fault it’s mine for recruiting you.

My gosh Spurrier wanted the LSU job bad and we sure screwed that up by not hiring him. Spurrier knew what a sleeping giant LSU was way back then.

Hopefully we can have much success with Kiffin and in 25 years possibly he equal or surpass the current GOAT in Saban. That’s a lot to ask, but LSU is a school that it could be done with the right coach.

Damn! That's brutal!

So true. The players threw a hissy fit for Mike Archer* and the powers-that-be caved. That was arguably the biggest mistake in the history of LSU football.

* Mike Archer was a nice guy, but he wasn't even close to being on the same level as Steve Spurrier. #INSANITY

Yeah it’s just still amazing to me that we passed on him for Mike Archer.

So bad.

Glad he is our coach, but Lane just talks shite just to talk shite. I don’t believe half the stuff he says
