So we sacrifice 2026 season for LK to coach OM Playoffs?

That what everyone seems to be ready to do. He can’t recruit early signing period or transfer portal for US as another teams coach. He’s got to either come or not come. I’m not willing to sacrifice a season for him to coach a month. Playoffs are Dec 19-Jan 19 (championship not likely though so Jan 9th worst case scenario. Leaves 7 days to clear any portal recruiting. Legally he can’t contact recruits for us if he’s coaching them.

But there will be assistant coaches recruiting, and, if Lane goes to LSU, the recruits will know damn well who they'd be playing for.

Go hire Tulane’s coach for $10 million a year and you don’t have to worry about the next few years because we won’t be any good. Makes sense. Hurry up and hire an inferior coach.

You dont think these guys can walk and chew gum at the same time? Aranda was at 2 places and it worked out fine. BK managed this season and his florida vacations...that aint easy to do. O managed his young women and his team. See it all works out fine.

At this point, we're at his mercy. We have no backup plan, and quite frankly, next year's gonna be tough anyhow. (Look at our schedule)
