If there was ever a doubt the national media has it out for LSU

All of them are pleading with Lane not go to LSU. They want us to be a punchline with a cartoon character coach they can laugh at and do imitations of. frick them, all of them.

Yeah I usually think the ___hates LSU is retarded but it’s been damn near 100% pleading for Lane to stay at ole miss. It’s to the point of being weird now.

Meh. Has nothing to do with LSU. It's the underdog story.
Same reason on most random games you pull on TV, you're most likely rooting for the underdog.

Well the national media is campaigning hard to keep a coach from LSU while saying nothing about the likely g5 representative coach doing the exact same thing as Lane.

Well for one, no one gives a frick about Sumrall lol.
And I know everyone keeps saying Ole Miss isn't going to win the playoffs, which yeah that's the most likely outcome. But the only team they would be heavy underdog against, would be Ohio St. No one would be shocked if they won a game against any of the playoff teams.

Because they already know he’s gone and Tulane isn’t playing with the same kind of money as the playoff contenders

I wouldn’t say they hate LSU, but between the caricature (Les, O) or dick (BK) coaches, drunk Cajun idiots for fans, and the Louisiana political circus, we have always been a very easy target to dunk on and make fun of and LSU fans are just tired of it.

I took it as more stay to coach SECCG if they get there and playoff. If you think they that they don’t want LK to go to LSU because they don’t like LSU you are taking the inferiority complex to a whole new level. They would say the same thing if he was going to Florida you just wouldn’t notice.

First of all that everything has to be covered in a discussion is one of the dumbest things ever. Next going from a G5 team to an SEC job is an obvious big step up career wise. And while LSU is a better job than OM (Saban addressed the recruiting benefit) the money is the same and a 9-3 season would never get him fired at OM, so it’s not remotely the same as leaving Tulane. Its not like the program is upsetting the apple cart or dominating the SEC.

1- Tulane’s a G6 team, so the national media doesn’t really give two shits about them.
2- Tulane’s not guaranteed a playoff spot. Looks like Ole Miss is.
Why would attention not be brought to a situation that’s as fricked up as a program going into the CFP without their head coach? It would be like if Georgia’s QB decided to now sit out the rest of the season, during their playoff run, because he decided to transfer to Texas next season.
