Committee already set the precedent with FSU. If your backup is average and your D wins games it doesn’t matter, no playoff bid

Reed will be fine today, but I won't be shocked at all to see him sit for the SEC title game. Ankles usually get substantially worse after rest.

Yep

We don’t make the rules. We just follow them!

Funny thing is that Florida State has been proving the committee right for that decision ever since.

no they haven’t, we never got to see the FSU team actually compete after going undefeated

that was a horrible decision and precedent by the committee, holding injuries and coaching changes against kids who win games on the field is absurd

Lol no. They just set the precedent of them not being a top 4 team.

but how far does it go? When you use an arbitrary reason of X player being injured or how maybe even X coach leaving, in theory they could drop a team however low they wanted. That’s why it was so stupid then and i hope they never do it again

I mean they could, but they won't. It's circumstantial. They will never drop a team 10 spots this late in the season imo.

Even if he has a hangnail, I think we have to consider if Vanderbilt bama Oklahoma Utah Tulane are better and more deserving imo
