When is the last game LSU has played with 40mph winds and rain?

The only one I can think of is Tennessee 8 or 9 years ago.

Have we had a game that will be remotely close to this?

ETA: Requested to move boards.

That Miami game in Tiger Stadium in the 80’s was basically played in a hurricane

Sounds like the making of a 3-2 type game with these two offenses

I did too. We were sitting in the North Endzone and the flags on the goalposts were blowing straight up. Miserable.

I was there as well.

When I watched Forrest Gump for the first time, and every time since, when Forrest mentions all the different kinds of rain in Vietnam, I immediately think of that LSU game

My worst game in Tiger Stadium on top of the weather was the Beatdown 41-3

I was at that Miami game in Tiger Stadium when it was pouring water ( never rain) and the wind was so strong it was blowing the orange pylons all over the field. That was a monsoon.

2007 LSU vs South Carolina was wettest and windiest I remember. Tropical Storm was in the Gulf and we were getting slapped by the out bands during the game. I had purchased a Frog Tog rainsuit for the game and it soaked right through it. Was the only ticket from the 2007 season that I don’t still have because it literally disintegrated in my pocket due to the rain.

I was in the student section. Lsu punter nailed one into the wind. It landed behind him.

That Tennessee game was insane. From what I recall there was no lightning so there were no delays.

Getting an uber out of there was life or death since temps were dropping like 30 degrees within an hour and everyone was soaked

LSU-Tennessee, 2017. It was so windy before the squall line came through at halftime that a couple of pieces of the south scoreboard flew off.

They ended up delaying kickoff, but the storm right before Oregon State in 2004 was insane.

90k+ were there for the first game after the NC and no one left the stadium.

The streakers were escorted out, but kept the rest of us entertained

The field was a disaster and definitely impacted the game.
