A judge in Georgia on Wednesday dismissed the historic racketeering case brought against President Donald Trump over his efforts to overturn his loss in the state’s 2020 election.

The ruling by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee draws to a close the final criminal case against Trump that remained unresolved after he won back the White House in 2024.

McAfee’s order dismissing the case “in its entirety” came shortly after state prosecutor Peter Skandalakis moved to drop the case against Trump and his remaining co-defendants “to serve the interests of justice and promote judicial finality.”

I wonder how the four who pleaded guilty feel now:)? Am I a bad person to revisit Pravda to see the glee they had about the guilty pleas?

They already have. ABC said that Willis was disqualified for ACCUSATIONS of misconduct. Nope. She was found to have engaged in misconduct.

I'll say it again:

We can have acceptable results (justice) on an unacceptable timeline, or we can have unacceptable results on a timeline that makes everyone happy but no one is held accountable.

These are mutually exclusive pathways. Can't have both.

I know Pete, he married my favorite College English Professor's daughter, Dr. Bill Doxey.

RIP. Dr. B!

It seems the world of high stake politics it akin to being in a platoon of soldiers, you don't know who truly has your back and is willing to fight until the bullets start flying.

Is common sense returning to the judicial system?

McAfee’s order dismissing the case “in its entirety”

Now that statement is going to absolutely wreck the "feelings" of some self proclaimed moderates that were certain this case was sound.
