If Congress can't help themselves and are unable to get the low-hanging fruit, they will never tackle the tougher budget challenges.

862 earmarks worth $2.4 billion

Lucy the Elephant - $350k
Theatrical Job Training - $100k
Remodel the Swan Pond Nature Area in Roane County - $2.5M

... and more....

From Shutdown Winnings: Billions in Earmarks for Coke-Driven Moby Dick Theatre, Horse Therapy, “Gay Utopia,” and More

Trump needs to come out and say he will veto any bill that has an earmark.

We love our Congressmen yet hate Congress. They're all on the same team when it comes to pork.

John Cornyn is a dick.

It was a long time ago when some commentator that 87% of Americans hate congress, but they keep re-electing the same people over and over.

Easy way to fix this. Single appropriation bills. Single issue. That’s it. That’s all they have to do.

Convention of states, I think 3/4 of states can agree on term limits and single appropriation bills. People have to stop complaining and start doing something. Power is vested in us.

Yes and they will argue that it's the only way to get whatever they want done. This, of course, is absolute bullshite. I'd rather die on the hill of single appropriation than vote for any bloated bill. Force change.

If you're in Tim Burchett, Anna Paulina Luna or Brandon Gill's area, then I love your Congressmen.

My own, I can't stand. RINOS and fence-sitters for the most part.

I want a reset button. I want to start over. This is my Holiday Wish.

There is a tab at the bottom of the attachment that shows some of the 224 million in earmarks for "the squad" of which AOC is the ringleader. Read some of that nonsense, no wonder she has raked in millions in short fashion.

All of congress just not give a shat, just out in the open for all to see and a big fu to Americans.
