If tweet fails to load, click here. Hypothetical matchups IMO
Curry v Kobe
Lefraud v MJ
KD v Bird
Giannis v Duncan
Jokic v Shaq
I feel like each matchup could get theirs when on offense, last second shot to win from either side is what it comes down to
Joker put bottom over the top, barely

look at that giant bald spot on KD's head

I feel like Duncan shutting down Giannis may be the only given

With every NBA all-time great versus all-time great question, all depends upon the rules in which they play under

Why is Larry Bird being put with Shaq, Tim Duncan and Kobe?
Just smh
Just smh

Lmao. Bird was a 6’10” Pistol Pete. He’s absolutely one of the greats.

That’s not even fair. Larry’s trash talking would scare KD into sitting out the second half with an “injury”.
Who’s KD’s backup?

A frontline of prime Shaq and Duncan is tough to overlook.

Top easily. No one is stopping Shaq if they let the game be physical

What rules?
80s defensive rules or today?
Matters if you can pull Centers out in man or have to commit fully to a double-team.

Either rules, MJ destroys Curry

all of this. because if they are allowed to play defense, the team with curry is losing as he's the weak link. he can't guard anyone and kobe or mj would take him out the game. i don't think durant can be physical enough on defense either.

Bottom wins that easily.
I know 3 doesn’t seem much bigger than 2. But it does when you lose 100-66.

You must have been born after 2000. The bottom doesnt have a chance to shoot 3s with the defense that the top plays. Different league. They arent allowing wide open 3s. This isnt even close. Jordans team destroys them

Top would be indicted for war crimes afterwards

You really didn’t put much thought into this post did you? Tell us you never saw the older guys play without telling us…pussies like LeBron and Curry would get destroyed

I don’t think the dispute was that he was one of the greats. I think the dispute is that he was a great from a clear different era than all the rest. At least I assume
Bird’s era would be something like him, MJ, Kareem, Magic, and Moses Malone
If you had to replace him with someone from the 90s/2000s for the Kobe lineup, I’d go Scottie or Grant Hill
And yes, I’m allowing MJ in both the Bird and Kobe lineups… he was that good
