Sounds like the AD is trying to pitch to kiffin how they are going to move forward with the revenue share and NIL. This is kind of a Hail Mary for Ole Miss.

LINK

One thing that I keep going back to is during the season Lane kept talking about how much LSU spent on our defense. Almost insinuating that ole miss didn’t spend near as much on their roster.

You’re hours late, even hours behind Moscona rehashing the content that was hours late when he put a video out about it.

I am concerned about this. I’m sure Ole Miss is going to throw out some huge numbers and I hope LSU either has them beat or will get a chance for a counter. Much respect to Lane for making this about NIL commitment.

Here’s a free lesson. This board will always break news before Moscona.

If the $40M is true:

1. I doubt LSU matches
2. Lane better win the natty every year

That’s absurd money

LSUs NIL package was a low ball. They will be prepared to exceed whatever Ole Miss offers.

Ole Piss cannot recruit, attract, buy (etc) the TYPE of players and the NUMBERS of players that can be had by either LSU or FLorida.

Same. I think Ole Miss wins this tomorrow and he stays after they present him with an offer. If they really are committing to $40 million in roster money, that’s insane. LSU can probably do that, Ole Miss though? That’d be a surprise.

No shot in hell Ole Miss is spending 40 Mil on NIL. Those guys would be getting 0 return on investment except a coach who won’t ever win it all at Ole Miss because it’s Ole Miss.

Its a lot but the bigger factor is with the nil clearinghouse now run by Deloitte you better have a damn good plan to show how you're gonna keep everything above board.

Does Ole Miss have the business connections to legally pay 40m+ a year for a roster? I know LSU does

Correct. Don’t want to show our true capabilities in case he chooses to stay.

in reality tho, Lane already knows what Ole Miss can provide. If they could’ve / were willing to provide more already, why didn’t they?
