Give me Golesh over Drink. I think Kiffin would be a great fit and kill it with our resources and talent.

But if I'm going to take a chance, I want it to be a leadership and long term choice. For those of you with the Athletic, go read the article about Golesh's background and how he runs his program. Born in Moscow in '84. Escaped with his parents in '91 to NY. Moved to OH and fell in love with football. He hired his high school football coach to be a Sam Nader/Dr. Karam type at USF to help players become better men. He convinced USF money people to spend more on NIL than any other team in the conference.

This guy is a good coach. Cares about his players. Understands NIL. And wins. I'd rather take a shot on that than conference experience or a retread.

The people conducting this search will not even look at Golesh. I get the vibe that they feel it's below them.

Personally, I like Eric Morris as the dark horse, if it isn't Kiffin.
