He’s one weird fricker. Constantly tweets and then almost immediately deletes the tweets. Now making a big publicized bet and then suddenly closing his fund immediately after.

I think the truth on Burry is that he made one huge bet with conviction and won, and has lived off of it since. I don’t think he’s ever understood the market

I do give him some credit for GameStop, as he was the first major investor pushing the GameStop turnaround idea. He was the main reason retail started buying the stock like Roaring Kitty. But he also sold way before the peak or even before the squeeze really happened

What's the scuttlebutt?

Did he lose huge amounts of investor money with his latest short attempt?

Is he closing because he has some other, more diabolical takedown in mind?

Is his job being replaced by AI?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Why should I care what other people do with their money? He can do whatever he wants and he may be right or wrong. Nobody knows.

Bc he was publicly trying to make AI trades go down so he could make money. It was seen as manipulation. Especially if you’re on the other side of that investment.

Because he was trying to manipulate markets to his bets by releasing statements saying things like AI companies are cheating in their earnings... etc.

He is wicked.

He's either right or wrong and not a soul on here knows. Wouldn't be the first time 'earnings' were cooked etc.

Yea but the people he's betting against don't have the platform he does to try to influence the market.

stout - the sun will still come up tomorrow. Nothing is going to change in grand scheme of investing world. Burry seems to be taking his ball and going home.

He's a market manipulator.

He made comments without knowing jack shite just to win. It had nothing to do with him being right or wrong. It was him trying to manipulate the market.

He spent millions to short NVDA and PLTR. When the prices did not drop, he started going to the media to knock them down.

He's a POS that just lost a lot of people's money.

He's always combative. Nobody asked him to care. You just made the board aware because we all knew what he was doing.

We care because his actions cost people here money.

Actually its not. Market is full of people trying to 'manipulate' to further their positions it seems some on here want to pick and choose who are the 'evil' ones.

This was my point but they are all up in their fragile feelings about Burry for some reason.
