The Jack in the Box on the north gate of LSU used to be a Popeyes. And every know and then they ran a special of 20 wings for $5.

Before August of 2005 it wasn’t as bad as it is now.

It wasn't always a crime infested shithole. It was actually pretty nice.

still vividly remember exiting the stadium after a game, everyone screaming Go to hell Ole Miss, Go to hell! no matter who we'd just played or we were playing the following week and yep the stadium was packed until the end

I ate so much fried cheese there that I perfected the recipe. And I can also make the silver moon smothered chicken and black eye peas exactly.
North gate seafood and liquor was a cool arse store. Panchos down Nicholson

The music scene was really great around 95-2005. Lots of live music around campus bars.

The people there knew my dad and my uncles because they went there so much. So anytime I stopped in they brought me basically a plate or bowl of almost everything, overflowing.

Goddamn that was some good food. Every time I left there I could barely walk and needed to go home and take a nap

north of campus was always ghetto, for whatever reason the ghetto inhabitants would more or less stay in their lane when I was there

More than 20 years ago, but we used to go to Tabby’s when we went out freshman year because they had a keg and did not card. It was always fun.

All lights down Florida Blvd used to be synched at 45 mph. There were signs notifying drivers of this on every light. At that speed you would not catch 1 red light all the way from downtown to Denham. Why, with the technology, today can they not accomplish this on every major road is beyond me?

Tailgating at LSU was safe, fun, and family friendly.
