If he wasn't fired, why did he send that letter? Was that his resignation letter? Great! No buyout!

The one that he released a week and a half after he was fired?
It read like it was written by a PR person in his agents office. Maybe they released it when they did, because negotiations were going nowhere and they wanted to change the public perception of Kelly.
Everything that either side says or releases to the press is most likely posturing.
