and like the rest of the season, we are going to squander it on Nuss.

Even Arkansas can gameplan against Nuss. All you have to do is crowd the line of scrimmage to stop the run and the short screens. Nuss has shown that this year he can't throw the ball.

I could enjoy watching the game, even if we lose, if we gave the game to MVB, or even let Hurley get some snaps.

I can't help but watch, but it'll be a painful exercise once more.

Did they cancel the OU game and I missed it?

There's always a chance. That's why they play the game!

LSU may have no choice but to go with Nuss.

Nothing has been said, and I doubt he would say so publicly, but there is a possibility that Van Buren could chose to "opt out" of the next two games. He's played in 3 games. He can only play in one more without losing his ability to RS. That extra year of eligibility is bigger now, more than ever. Not because it gives him another year to "develop". But because it gives him another year to earn money as a college player. If you aren't a likely NFL draft pick, college is your window to maximize your earnings playing football.

I'm sure MVB got decent money to come to LSU to the backup when he likely could have gone elsewhere and started given his experience at MSU. LSU is not going to be a playoff team. So there is probably a thought of why burn this year when, if I sit vs Arkansas and WKU, I can still play vs. OU (if needed) and the bowl game and still have 3 more years to get paid....be it at LSU or another school.

And there is I think a good chance Nuss opts out if a bowl game

So play Nuss rest of regular season then MVB in bowl game.

Arkansas is a losing football team. Oklahoma is not. we have no chance at either with Nuss at qb. I fully expect that Nuss will be our starter for the rest of the season. MVB gives us a chance to beat ARK. If he plays all games the rest of the year, well, we'd have to see him in the first 2 to make a judgment about our chances to beat OK. but i don't think we'll get that chance.

Because it's insane. this whole season has been insane.

OU defense will probably cut Nuss in half with our Oline.
