Why does the GOP even respond to this type of behavior? People will follow true leadership always. Start leading and let these democrat naysayers and knuckleheads fall of the bus of governance.

It is time to get rid of the unconstitutional filibuster. End of story.

quote:

The fury at eight Democratic-aligned senators who voted with Republicans to end the longest-ever government shutdown highlights the dramatic shift in the Democratic Party less than a year into President Donald Trump’s second term, as voters and lawmakers argue that the party needs to adopt more ruthless tactics to counter the president and claw its way back to power.

The reaction to the two votes on Sunday and Monday, which provide a pathway for the government to reopen after more than 40 days, was fierce. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-California) called for Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-New York) to be replaced, suggesting he was an ineffective leader even though Schumer opposed the government funding measure. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) blasted the eight senators and said House Democrats would not support a government funding bill that did not include the health care measures the party has demanded. Democratic advocacy groups, politically vulnerable lawmakers, potential 2028 presidential candidates and voters all followed suit, lambasting those in their party they saw as caving.

The democrats will FAFO if that's the route they want to take. Get rid of the filibuster. If we don't, they will when they regain power. And they will eventually, because half of the country are lawless dumbasses

tell us you're going to cheat and get more violent with your opponents and not articulate any policy to voters without telling us this is what you're going to do.

What will happen if a motion to abolish the filibuster is filibustered?

Maybe it causes harm or standing so a suit can be filed to prove it is unconstitutional and must be ended now!!

I speak English but I have no idea what the previous statement is about.

If you are talking about the filibuster it is merely a formality. It is a gentleman’s agreement between the two parties. It can be removed by a simple majority. It has not been removed because both D’s and R’s have previously agreed not to remove the 60 vote threshold.
