Have you ever noticed that the coaching staff with the least amount of competence seems to be the one that has fewer timeouts when the game is on the line?

When you’re watching two really good coaches compete notice how many timeouts they have in the fourth quarter. Saban almost universally had all three timeouts to burn when it mattered.

Or in our case calling timeouts early in the half when they should already have plays prepared and ready so that timeouts can be used for the purpose of stopping the clock not to revisit play selection.

Maddening watching poorly run teams, my God this year has been tough.

Hard disagree.

Nuss knows exactly what he's doing when he burns a timeout every 3rd and long on the opening drive of the game just to come out after the timeout and run a horribly designed play.

You gotta trust the process.

Our offensive staff at present consists of:
Frank Wilson
Brad Davis
Alex Atkins
Cortez Hankton

This is probably as weak of an offense side staff as could be found in CFB.

Im not sure ive ever noticed how much timeouts got used by specific players before nuss. Its so bad, that you really have to include it in his evaluation

how often do we burn 2 in the 1st and 3rd quarters, with nothing to show for it?
