Posted this on politics board but bringing here, too.

The supposed "clean" continuing resolution to reopen the government slipped in a provision closing the THC/hemp loophole from the 2018 Farm Bill

Lots of small businesses about to get destroyed.

Is that the vape pens that smell like dirty socks that have been up a skunk's arse for a month?

I don’t pretend to know the right answer, but the free for all that exists now is no bueno.

Not seeing anyone (news outlets) picking up this story so far today, they recently tried banning it here in Texas.

Rand Paul is having a fit over it being included in the bill and he is from Kentucky.

Well, i supported it and then all of the public smoking and smoking in cars driving around started. I don't support it any more.

Where are you seeing this? The text (pdf) I saw didn't have any mention of it.

What small businesses? Those smoke shops owned by Arabs?

I don’t think this change will impact the medical aspect of it.

It’s primarily targeting the gas station/convince store supply. But it will absolutely impact mom and pop hemp shops.

Who is small alcohol? Everyone that isn't a home brewer is part of "big alcohol," even if it's a local brewery, because they have to sell to distributors before end consumers get the product through a retailer.

Well it’s not legal to do that, so if cops would just start enforcing the law that would go down. But we don’t believe in accountability anymore in society. And that is the real problem. Same reason other crimes are up.

If you have a state where it's legal close by just go there if it's feasible. The wife(no pics) and I were in the N Georgia mountains last month for a mini vacation and while there I drove up to Cherokee NC and loaded up. I'm good for awhile
