A 1 win team playing their arse off today is a great sign

All fronts were playing hard.
Says a lot about the coaches and overall team vibe, this thing could have gone tits up quickly. We’ve played hard most of the year besides Seattle who is just a great team in general. We have been in most of the games.

If you read my ST post history. I’ve saying that in every thread. CKM has control. Same vibe as when we signed Payton.
ETA. Our fans have such PSD that they can’t see it. Can’t blame them really. I was there in the 90s

I’ve said this a few times this year. The effort this team gives week in and out despite being outgunned more weeks than not is a great sign for CKM’s future imo.

Absolutely. Everyone forgets Payton took over a post Katrina 3-13 team that was 8-8 in 2004. He had some talent on that team plus Brees and an historic draft class. CKM’s cupboard is pretty bare and he has them playing hard.

I think this is the additional value that Cam, Demario, Alvin, and Taysom bring to the team. High character veterans that set the example for young players.

The fact that the vets have kept this team from checking out will pay huge dividends in the long run.
