Do only Christians believe in equality (and demand people show no partiality)?

Seems like that would be a democrat’s belief as well. Civil rights? I guess they are just fools, willing to believe anything?

I guess the party that respects everyone’s beliefs has to divide us and assign each person their own value?

Reading the history of Christian behavior to include our current situation do you sincerely believe that to be true?

Well that’s what God wants. I know it’s mostly an ideal but it is worth striving for. Wouldn’t that dismantle the left’s ideology?

They make alphabet characters their heroes. Systemic racism, no more. And you would still have a government that needs to enforce the law.

Btw, it sucks not having Charlie around.

Pretty sure Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s,” and told slaves to obey their masters in the same breath.

Not exactly ringing endorsement of civil rights. Jesus was more concerned about the kingdom of God than the kingdoms of this world.

And yay! Another religious post on the Poli Board!

Love God. Love others. Yes, loving others includes protecting people from threats. Toxic empathy has made some people go against the law (encouraging lgbtq, abortions). No we will never be righteous without Jesus.

Galatians 3:28
28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Yes. But don’t live your life on how others live their own lives. Instead live by God’s word.

Too bad you didn’t live back then. Then you could have enlightened us.

To live by his word? Faith in Jesus Christ?

EDIT:
No partiality.

Deuteronomy 10:17
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

Shouldn’t all of us follow God’s example?

True believers of Christ do but many so-called believers make the own beliefs. How many klansmen after lynching a black man went to church the next day.How many of us claim to believe and then hate our neighbors relatives co workers and claim to be Christian’s.

We should be careful who we hang around.

God tests us. He wants to know each heart.

Equal in the opportunity for reconciliation [John 3:16] Created in the image of God [Genesis account] Yes, to both.

Beyond that, no. All are creations of God but only Believers are the children of God [2 Peter]

Judge. No. Examine and discern. Yes

In this world but not of it

Don’t forget that God provides for the wicked and the righteous. He loves each and every person.

The only time Jesus really became unhinged was when the money changers at the entrance to the Temple were fleecing the people.

I recall the head money changers had an ingenious way of measuring the influx of $$. They had these buckets at the entrance, each equipped with a copper funnel. As the worshippers entered the front gate they would fling their shekels into that bucket. The sound of them shekels spinning around in that copper funnel before dumping into that bucket gave the money changers a good indication of what kind of day (money wise) they would have. Hey Yosef, listen to them shekels hitting that funnel - it's going to be a good day.

So when Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers, his destiny was decided - He had to go. The Sanhedrin didn't like their money changers disrupted like that.

Today we have our equal to the money changers. We call them IRS Agents Congressional Politicians, and SCOTUS Judges. And that my FRIENDS is why our pal John Roberts et al is going to squash President Trump's Tariff Plan. They want us ordinary grunts to pay to support the Temple. They want them Shekels (excuse me tax dollars) hitting them U.S.Treasury bells and going Ka-Ching Ka-Ching Ka-Ching. The more things change - the more they stay the same.

.......and just like Jesus - The Cabal (aka the Sanhedrin) is convinced Donald Trump has to go.

God does not think all peoples and nations are equal.

When Jesus gives up His crown and God becomes all in all (the consumption of the ages) I think that's pretty close, but I don't fully understand it.
