And it has been nearly unanimous by the fanbase as the right move . It was the right move. The stats were misleading due to screens and checkdowns. We had no chance to win with Nuss on the field.

I want to compliment Coach Wilson. That took balls but he played to win the game!

I am agreeing with him. The stats were misleading as frick because of screens and checkdowns.

We benched him because we couldn’t bench the entire offensive line.

Isn’t that a Nuss problem?

We benched him because he’s a really good QB at all the required tasks except running and passing.

nonsense.

What can Nuss do that MVB can’t?
Nothing.

What can MVB do that Nuss can’t?
Make the right read on RPOs.
Scramble when the pocket collapses.

Yep, 18 completions and half of them could have been completed by anybody that posts here.

I disagree on this one. His legs picked up some timely yards and kept the defensive more honest. There were several drops that would have kept drives going, not to mention the slide review. That drop by Green when they were backed up was just brutal as it was a perfect call and MVB went right where he needed with that ball. Much different than that same throws down the line of scrimmage that Bama started to jump on.

take a hit without acting like he just suffered a career ending injury.

support the starting QB without acting like a jealous immature child.

there were also 2-3 drops by the WRs/TEs when MVB was in. Can’t hold that against him.

This is a meaningless stat comparing Nuss vs MVB

About time. MVB should play the rest of the season so the program can see if he can be the guy in 26, or portal here we come. Set the next HC for success by giving MVB reps.

He clearly can move out of the pocket better and extend the play by passing or using his legs like he did last night.

We don't know if we'll be any better with him, but I'd give him the start against Arkansas to see. He's more mobile and with our OL being bad (especially late in games), it seems like a no brainer to see how we might fare with him behind center for the whole game.

But he did. If Ramos makes the 1st FG it’s a 5 point game when Nuss was pulled coming off a scoring drive. We def had a chance
