If a POTUS can stop trade can he also limit trade? After all, we know this POTUS has several ways to skin the "trade cat" regardless of the SCOTUS ruling.
Thank God he is our POTUS at this time.

We’ve gotta figure out a way to curb the executive unilaterally declaring a national emergency then that opening up a new set of powers for him.
I wonder if something like allowing the minority party in each chamber to declare the national emergency over with like 75% of the vote would be a good check.
That’s probably against all the rules of the chambers but there has to be a check to this unilateral declaration of emergencies.

It's as if nobody learned anything from the Covid era policies of Trump and Biden, along with numerous states.

He better have every possible "legal" tariff ready to go (and retroactive to "liberation day") the second that SCOTUS ruling comes down to mitigate any potential issues.

Amen to that. He just needs better legal advice.

It's as if nobody learned anything from the policies of Biden, along with numerous states, that free trade is certainly not free.

They're going to have to start over and refund all the tariff monies collected under the illegal acts, if the old tariffs are invalidated.

That will never happen and for the courts to even suggest it is preposterous but the Judiciary is infallible, amirite? The executive gets limited all the time but the Judiciary is free from restraint

Why?
Why do you think the government should be able to keep money it seized illegally?
