…does that mean Kiffin is the main target? I don’t know all the players in this, or even how involved they are, so I’m genuinely curious about this. How involved would Gordon be in the coaching search?

I think everyone knows that Lane is the main target. I think he just is by default really.

Doesn’t matter who his guy is. His guy could be the Easter bunny. Doesn’t matter.

I figure he would be at the top of nearly every list but just don’t know how hard LSU would go to get him.

I don't think there's any doubt he's the main target

Gordon contributes to NIL and I’m sure some of coaches salary/buyout. He absolutely gets a say as does every whale at LSU.

In the grand scheme of donors, Gordon is small fish. Y’all keep bringing up his name bc of the NIL stuff, but he’s not even close to the biggest donors

Well, prior to this year he was 1 of 3 LSU donors that gave $1 million. The other 2 were Graves and Spaht according to Moscona.

being rich doesn’t make you a good selector of college coaches.
they’ll ask his opinion, but who knows how much weight they’ll lend it.

But you have to admit the Easter Bunny would dominate the Egg Bowl if he coached at Ole Miss

Dude walks outside looks up at the sky. Goes on the radio and says he has a source that the sky is blue.

It has as much weight as the 7 figure donations he makes I’d guess

Does Gordon donate as much money as the local media portrays? I know he has G team etc and buys Jell-O shots and lets Kim mulkey sit on his Ferrari during parades
But do we actually know what level he’s at?

He seems to be opposite of an anonymous buyout/problem fixer booster
