McShay's YT is a good watch; I highly recommend it for those who may not have been on to this yet. Each week he looks at prospects and gives info on what he's hearing and seeing.

2 specific things of note here that intrigued me:

1. Bain has pass rushing issues
2. BYU RB L.J. Martin is the real deal. He compares him to Emmit Smith and Adrien Peterson in that he's the big back that can move. We don't get many of those anymore, and he's praising this dude.

Bain has now no-showed for 2 high profile games. Thats 25% of their games and like HALF of their nationally televised games that he simply got blanked in.

After the Louisville game I posted this and all the retards were "hurr durr its one game". Yeah, and they lost and he wasnt even double teamed in it.

Do not want

Emmitt Smith was not a big back. He was maybe 5’9” 210-215lbs. He had really good vision and made exceptional cuts on the line of scrimmage.

Smith played like a big back. He would run through people and was exceptionally physical. What made him so great was that he did it all, including his exceptional cuts. His game was not just the elusive one. Dude was incredible.

He's also not a big stat sheet guy. In 1 less game than last year he has the same number of solo tackles, 7 more total tackles, 0.5 fewer TFL, and 1.5 fewer sacks.

Would be a very Saints move to draft a DE in top 5-10 whose weakness is rushing the passer..

I wish there was a DE in this class that had potential even 90% of what Myles Garrett can do.

Bain

Agree, he ain't it.

we're not going to get #1 overall IMHO, however --- top 5

Jordyn Tyson if he measures properly is the guy. big bodied WR who has great hands.

Spencer Fano another RT prospect and move Fuaga to G?

Unless you are derrick henry, RBs need to catch. Hard pass.

What?!?! Dallas had an incredible offensive line that opened up massive holes. He didn’t shy away from contact, but he sure as hell didn’t “play like a big back”.

I’m liking Reese more and more. I know LBer isn’t a typical top 5 pick, but I’d be okay with it.
