This guy is about as impressive as they come from an economist standpoint. My first question is why is he only a bureaucratic director and not a cabinet member? Second question is what do we know about his past that could keeps the Dems and RINOs from confirming him in May when Trump appoints him to take over Too Late's role as the fomc chair? Now I see why Bessent said Kevin is the smartest guy he knows. Those 2 are gonna be Batman and Robin cabinet members in just over 6 months from now.

He always seems so happy. Every time I see an interview with him, I feel like I was just listening to a friend give me some good info.

As one who has never paid much attention to the finance oriented administration officials, I have been overwhelmingly impressed by these two people every time I have seen them - cool, intelligent, good natured, confident, polite,
