The guy we are trying to hire now…Lane Kiffin.
Would’ve been a hell of a lot cheaper then too with probably a playoff appearance or two.

Brian Kelly was an absolute homerun hire when it occurred. Was considered one of the biggest "heist" in college football. Stealing a HC who had been to playoffs\Natty recently from a big name program like Notre Dame.
BK never fit in and was basically retired it seems but at the time you're just lying to yourself if you think it was a bad pick.

I’ll always believe that LSU just needs a capable Captain. The ship will run itself. Maybe not always at its full potential, but it’ll float better than the rest.
That being said, LSU is where stars are made.
What was Saban before LSU and getting on the people’s radar?
LSU made Les a household name.
Coach O was tried and proven to be out of his league as a HC and did what it took to get LSU their first Heisman in 41 years and make himself a rockstar.
Idk who it will be, but LSUs next big run will be with someone hungry and ready. Someone that understand they got handed the keys to a Ferrari. However they drive it will define their future
