New Orleans airport TSA lines briefly close as man takes of clothes

A video of the bizarre encounter was uploaded to TikTok by a traveler @just.another.momdoc4.
The man, later identified as Angel DeLeon Oswaldo, was attempting to go through TSA line 6 about 5:50 a.m. when his behavior became "erratic," said Sgt. Brandon Veal, a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office.
The video starts as DeLeon stands shirtless in the line near the luggage scanner and a TSA agent clad in blue. DeLeon tries to go through but is halted. He then puts his shirt back on and begins fussing with the agent before doffing his socks and taking up a bouncing boxing stance.

The ruckus continues until five Sheriff's Office deputies arrive to take DeLeon into custody. No one was injured, Veal said.
DeLeon was arrested and booked with disturbing the peace. No bail information was available.

I saw a dude (probably inebriated) remove his shirt after the TSA told him to remove his shoes at the security line.

They are charging him with Disturbing the Peace. Unless there is some kind of Federal enhancement because it happened in an airport, Disturbing the Peace is about the most minor of misdemeanors in the Louisiana criminal statues.
