This shite show must be giving him a heart attack mixed with a raging boner of teaching opportunities

Landry could use a Karam marketing and PR class right about now.

The problem is Landry doesn't know who Karam is because Landry couldn't get into LSU and had to go to ULL, Southern, and Loyola.

I’m sure Thomas Greckhamer has some thoughts as well lol. Those guys would’ve handled this better than the people actually handling it

CSB: I had a Monday night class with Karam, this was around the time the NFL players were kneeling for the National Anthem. The discussion was about personal branding, and how terrible it was for the players image to kneel during the anthem as well as ESPN to show this on air.

MNF was about to start, so Tommy decided to turn the broadcast on in class and said he would give extra credit if anyone was broadcast kneeling.

This was the only time I appreciated Marcus Peters, I needed those extra points!

I don’t see how he has even been able to sleep this week after watching these fools do nothing but step on avoidable landmines. The new guys need to learn quickly to listen to the people who know what they’re talking about and want what’s best for LSU.

As someone who went through the law school admissions process, I can definitely tell you that LSU is harder to get into than Loyola for law school

I got into both, but Loyola gave me a full ride (based off of LSAT score) and LSU gave me basically nothing.

Loyola of New Orleans School of Law has a higher acceptance rate and lower admissions requirements, and you think it is harder to get into?

FYI, Landry initially got into Southern Law School, then transferred to Loyola.

In 2023, the median LSAT score at Loyola New Orleans Law was 151. It was 157 at LSU.

Did you think they meant Loyola Marymount?

Maybe there or Loyola Chicago

During baseball season I got into an argument with someone about Devin Sheerin who transferred in from Mt. St. Mary's and while I forget what the argument was about, they were just extremely incorrect.

Turns out it's because they thought he played at St. Mary's in California

165 Loyola grad here - and my class actually beat LSU in bar passage

In all seriousness, if you want to remain in New Orleans, Loyola is probably a better fit. LSU is better for people who want to work in government, and Tulane is better for people who want to leave the state.

Then Southern is better for people who couldn't get into the rest of the schools or in the rare instance of they have something lined up and just need that JD and they and their employer could not give less of a shite where they went to school.

I'll never forget the application process. LSU/Tulane/Loyola all had a pretty lengthy application and were taking forever to get back to me. I hadn't heard back yet and figured I'd just apply to Southern on the deadline day (which was a Friday) in anticipation of the absolute worst case scenario.

Southern sends me an email Monday (3 days after applying) offering me $10k a year and that they "need my social security number." This email had a very limited signature that just amounted to a name and a phone number I called and they were like "yeah we need your full social for the scholarship process." It was shockingly unprofessional.

Luckily I got into the rest a week later
