The Dems won off cycle elections in deep blue areas. NJ had 500,000 extra voters than the presidency. The only lesson to be learned is that the Dems will blatantly cheat so much more next time.

If the elections were in Texas and Florida, there would be a completely different narrative.

The solution is (somewhat) simple. The Senate (needing only a simple majority) lowers the filibuster threshold to defeat it with a simple majority. They pass the CR, then they raise the filibuster threshold back up again.

After that the GOP spends the next year reminding everyone how hard they worked with the Democrats but were finally forced to "use the nuclear option because Democrats would rather fund free healthcare for illegals than pay federal employees or keep children and families from starving."

They are likely all very, very safe for re-election or getting primaries anyway.

We voted for 47 to clean out this corruption and liberal anarchy tactics and he's failing. 11 months in and its the same old lawfare, liberals calling for violence against conservatives and Congressional democrats lying to the American people with their propaganda arm MSM. Things will not be any different in Nov 2026 and the Dems will likely regain control of the congress with help from lap dog republicans.
