Excited to see the new team. Dedan Thomas Jr is going to be a fan favorite. Elite PG that we haven't had since Tremont.
Me, my 4 year old and dad will be there.

Good. Because the product has been crap for the past three years.

Hopefully this is the last year of McTrans. tPear will soon assume full reign once again.

Spread is 17.5, but Tarleton hung with SMU until the last 8 minutes or so. Tigers should win easily, but it wouldn't be surprising if they don't cover.

Here’s a tribute to our delusional fanbase. (Myself included)
Hate McMahon all you want…if you can’t see the improvement you’re blind

I think this is his best roster he's had. In my opinion, he will get another year if he improves from last year's team. LSU basketball is not like LSU football right now where we can go out and hire big name guys. Our next coach is going to be another young guy we're taking a chance on and have to start over again. I like CMM, seems like he's well respected in the locker room and around campus from admin staff.

I guess I'll McWatch tonight.
I asked this in another thread and didn't get a response:
To the folks who have been following the team in the offseason re: transfers et cetera
What are yalls realistic expectations for this season? Any realistic shot of making the tourney?

I’m in. I fully expect disappointment and sadness, but…I’m here for it.

I definitely won’t be rooting against this basketball team just to get rid of CMM. Hope to see them finally make the NCAAT or CMM can gtfo

Ja Morant is not happy, and since everyone gets paid to play, maybe CMM can bring him to Baton Rouge.

No. He needs to squarely make the tournament THIS YEAR. No “marked improvement” or some other subjective metric.
This guy has had more than enough time to get this program going. It is on life support. Tournament or bust. This is ridiculous.

Much improved roster, I think this will be a team fighting for 18 or 19 wins hoping for 10 or 11 seed in the tournament.
Now my predictions could very well change by the end of December. The SEC is very top heavy this year so we got a chance to finish middle upper half of the pack in this league.

Improved roster for sure, but not sure how we stack up against the top of the SEC. Who knows, we could be so much improved that we go from a zero to a competitor in one offseason. I expect us to atleast be in contention for the tourney
Excited to be there tonight and hopefully usher in a new successful season and time with LSU MBB. Bc it’s been bleak lately, to say the least!

LSU is currently projected to finish 15th in the SEC. The SEC currently has 16 teams.

Are any players hurt/out tonight or is everyone available?
