There should be no back money owed to snap recipients

If this goes on or not, there should no back benefits paid. You can’t go back and EAT a week ago !!!!

The idea is that back money would allow them to pay back people they borrowed from at this time.

From my understanding, these cards are loaded monthly. I agree, they should be prorated for whatever date in the month they are eventually funded and they definitely should not fund previous months that werent funded during shutdown

Would probably be a good idea to replenish the USDA contingency funds if that's what you're referring to

SNAP was not ever mentioned. Might they be on Snap? Sure. Desperation is setting in, obviously, for some reason.
